Welcome back to SXIE(A) !!!
Education is dynamic and teacher education has become very challenging. Teacher Education courses are becoming obsolete and institutions are producing teachers who are not fully prepared for the teaching profession. SXIE (A) organizes number of enrichment sessions to equip student teachers with the latest skills and techniques of teaching, learning and assessment. SXIE (A) places great emphasis on ‘Inclusive learning’ and thus directs the student teachers to develop teaching learning materials to suit every learner in the class. Internship doesnot provide opportunities to interact with students at a closer level but with the help of the teachers, student teachers do acquire skills to deal with different kinds of students in the class.
As an alumnus of SXIE(A) you can provide your experience, skills and suggestions to improvise the B.Ed. course. SXIE is an autonomous institution and therefore has academic freedom to modify its curriculum and create a more relevant curriculum for its student teachers. It is with this intention that we have this page on our website and we urge each one of you to share your innovations and insights which could be beneficial to our student teachers. We look forward to your cooperation.
